LinkedIn Learning, the new platform LinkedIn launched two years ago to help members develop new skills and talents, is receiving new content from top contributors. New partners include Harvard Business Publishing and other education-focused companies including getAbstract, Big Think, Treehouse, and CreativeLive For Business.
All of this new content will be available to LinkedIn Learning users in addition to all pre-existing learning content available on the platform. Additionally, LinkedIn will allow companies using LinkedIn Learning to create a single place for their employees to learn new skills, leveraging the organization’s own content and other sources available on LinkedIn Learning. “We are opening up our platform so that our customers who have purchased multiple sources of content can offer their employees a unique, personalized and social learning experience, making it easier for them to discover and acquire relevant skills that they can apply quickly,” the company explained in a blog post today.
The new partners LinkedIn announced today are quite significant, and the company says it will be adding more in the near future. “We will continue to invest in our own library of up-to-date, expert-led professional content, insightful personalization and social features to ensure that all learners and organizations can discover and apply content that helps them achieve their professional goals and trading,” the company said today.
